Most women start their businesses full of passion, drive and desire with every intention to succeed. But all too often, such fledgling businesses never make it out of start-up mode, and as their owners work harder and harder, they wonder why things aren’t going as well as they had hoped.
The difference between having a struggling and a successful business is a matter of having the right systems in place, employing basic business practices and correctly using cost-effective marketing techniques.
Don’t go with a company just because they promise you a the moon all wrapped up in a pretty package with a bow. Make sure the company is a fit for you. Make sure they can perform the task they offer you and be willing to ask for results on a weekly or monthly basis.
There is no “perfect” marketing ploy and what works for one company does not necessarily work for another. Your marketing plan needs to be unique for you, so when a company starts laying out your plan and they say ABC company did this and had mega results, STOP!!! If they can’t give you a personal plan based on your company and the needs of your company don’t sign that contract.
Many women get blasted up front with major expenses when starting a new business. Don’t be one of those women!
Cost Effective Marketing? What do you do that is cost effective for you?
